Dear customers,
I have dreaded writing this email for a number of weeks but it is with a heavy heart that I confirm that we will be closing all services including pick up & drop off till further notice.
Despite my best efforts to have the business continue running providing an essential service to our dear customers, over the past couple weeks, I have assessed our operations and come to the conclusion that the space of our unit makes it near impossible to practice social distancing. Most of our customers who have visited in-store will know how tight spaced our unit is, it is such unfortunate timing as we were actively looking to scale up and find a new unit right before the virus, these plans are now on hold and we will have to build from scratch once we reopen. I have also chosen not to outsource our cleaning during this time to protect the wellbeing of our customers – there is never a certainty of how your clothes are being treated when outsourcing and this transparency is something that I take very seriously.
As you can tell, this is not a decision that I have taken lightly and I remain upset over it, however, in such a unique situation, the health and wellbeing of our customers, staff members and community means the most.
I and the 1 Stop Family hope you all remain safe during this time and follow all government protocol. Please remember that this virus doesn’t move, people move it. If we stop moving, the virus will stop moving so please do all you can to remain home and practice social distancing.
During this time, I’ll be working extremely hard to build a brand new online experience and new service concept – I cannot wait to showcase this when we reopen.
