In 2011, with the 2008 recession having a large impact on their local grocery business, on a whim, Paul & Jas decided to turn their shop into a coin operated launderette
Our current Director of Operations; Rohit Dhillon (son of Paul & Jas) was only 15 years old at the time but had spent many years even as a kid working in his parents grocery shop & Launderette. Over the years, he learned the art of building a special bond with the local community around a business, obsessing over quality of service and always delivering on promises.
Fast forward to 2019, After graduating at University of Birmingham with a Chemical Engineering degree, Rohit decided the very next day to take on the challenge of building his family business. He launched one of London’s first Online Eco Dry Cleaning & Laundry service with a strong focus on convenience, ethics & sustainability.
What we stand for
Do the right thing
We haven’t forgot about the ways in which Rohit’s parents built a special relationship with the local community around our King’s Cross launderette. Working with honesty, integrity and developing a special bond with all our customers is top of the agenda.
Convenience
Our job and mission is simple, to take care of your laundry so you have more time to do the things you love. We have designed a system and service that solely focuses on this mission, a service that makes it as easy and convenient as possible for our community of customers to forget about laundry.
Sustainability
We apply sustainability to all parts of our operation. This is why we’re one of London’s only green dry cleaners where we use biodegradable detergents as opposed to toxic PERC which is used by much of the industry – this results in a far more green and healthy clean for our customers. In addition, 100% of our electricity also comes from green resources such as wind and solar energy. We’re always looking for more ways to go greener!
Innovation
We are always working on ways to develop our service as technology gets better. Bringing more convenience to our customers via innovation is very important to us and we will continue to do this as we grow. Our very own app, SMS & Voice app is all in development as we look for ways to make our experience more seamless for our customers.
